One Thing This Week

If I could buy one thing this week, it would be this animal print dress from Top Shop. I am in the process of looking for a job and need to start looking for a work wardrobe. I think this dress is fashion forward and work appropriate. Pair with a blazer and pumps for a great office look or  statement shoes and brightly coloured clutch for a fun party look.

A Day at The Lake

I usually have at least one maxi dress for the summer but up until recently I have gone without one. I found this Gap maxi on super sale. I loved it because it was simple and just the right length (also I love anything in a bright orange). I will be wearing this dress the rest of the summer on total repeat.

Happy Beach Day!

Today is a beach day, so I am heading down to the shore to visit my good friend for a day in the sun! I meant to have an outfit post today but left my camera at my aunts, so in the mean time enjoy these great vintage bathing beauties.

It's that time of year; summer sales in full swing and all the fall stuff is starting to hit the shelves. One Thing This Week: Leather Peplum

If I could have one thing this week it would be this leather peplum top. Two big trends for AW 2012 are peplum and leather. Nothing embodies these two trends as perfectly as this Tinley Road faux leather top. I can imagine myself wearing this top on repeat all  season.

Touches of Neon

I love Neon but I am not sure I am the kind of person to wear it head to toe. So instead I opted for small touches of neon in my belt and earrings. The perfect hint of acid colour without blinding other pedestrians. How will you add touches of neon?

Modern Lady Like: In The Heart of The Suburbs

The other day I raided my Mom's closet and pulled out this crisp white shirt and set of multi coloured pearls, never too old to play dress up in your Mom's closet. I am currently living in the heart of suburbia, I am talking lady's wear their gym cloths under fur coats to the store (I am not kidding this actually happens, full length mink with Reeboks sticking out the bottom). So needless to say I was feeling very tennis clubbish, so we broke out the badminton and croquet and had a rousing game. You know what they say if you cant beat them join them.
